JDrive is the successor to the not very successful JemDrive note-taking and file-storage app that I shipped in 2022. Although it did not take the world by storm, or really take anything (even by a gentle breeze), the codebase contains some great features:

• cross-device sync of a git repository
• cross-platform clients (Android, iOS, macOS, Linux, Windows)
• built-in markdown editor
• inline AES encryption in markdown documents

I am taking out the would-be-sass oriented parts of the code to make this into a generic git-sync utility which I will then open source.
